The Following Rules Apply to REHEARSAL:
(1) If you will be absent, notify the Minister of Music or Choir President as soon as possible. (See contact information listed below)
(2) If you arrive after rehearsal has begun, do not enter the choir stand until directed to do so by the Minister of Music.
(3) If you are absent for two (2) consecutive rehearsals, do not enter the choir stand the following Sunday. No exceptions.
(4) No talking while the choir is singing or the Minister of Music is teaching a song.
(5) No walking while the choir is singing or the Minister of Music is teaching a song.
(6) No eating or drinking in the choir stand.
The Following Rules Apply to SUNDAY SERVICE(S), including those away From Salem:
(1) If you will be absent, notify the Minister of Music or Choir President as soon as possible.
(2) Report to the choir room at 10:45 am for prayer prior to entering the choir stand as a group.
(3) If you arrive after the choir has entered the choir stand, do not enter the choir stand.
(4) Again: if you are absent for two (2) consecutive rehearsals, do not enter the choir stand the following Sunday. No exceptions.
(5) Remain in the choir stand during the entirety of service, including the sermon, except for emergencies and/or restroom breaks.
(6) If you must leave prior to service ending, notify the Minister of Music or Choir President prior to service, if possible.
(7) If your child must sit with you in the choir stand, do not leave them unattended or let them walk freely around the choir stand.
(8) No Ipads, tablets or other like electronic devices in the choir stand unless they are being used for service purposes (for example, using a Bible application).
(9) No texting or other use of cell phones in the choir stand unless they are being used for service purposes.
(10) No using "Facebook" or other like social media in the choir stand that divert attention away from service.
(11) Keep talking to a minimum.
(12) Keep walking to a minimum.
(13) No eating.
